Brad Creasser was fortunate to attend a high school equipped with a fully functioning television studio. This bolstered his love for cameras and film production, which led him to Ryerson University in Toronto, where he graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Film Studies.
While a student at Ryerson, Brad had begun working in the industry as a camera assistant, and continued after relocating to Vancouver. Eleven years later, and having worked on various features, television series, and commercials, he began a new career as a Camera Operator. During this time, Brad would play a prominent role on the crew of CW’s Supernatural as the “A” Camera Operator for fifteen seasons. After shooting second units, splinter units and various cover days required for main unit, Brad was bumped up and has shot 10 episodes of the series as a DP. Over this period, he also developed a strong passion for VFX, shooting green screen sequences, elements and plate work.
While Creasser’s dedication to his family at Supernatural is unmatched, he has found extra time to shoot various episodic productions and several short films, including the short “Cinephiliac”, which earned him a shared Leo Award in 2016.
Brad brings a wealth of knowledge and an unwavering sense of humour to set. A true perfectionist with an undying passion for film, it is his understanding of the importance of community and respect between departments that he enjoys the most.
